The sixth planet was ten times larger than the last one.

 

It was inhabited by an old gentleman who wrote voluminous books.

 

"Oh, look! Here is an explorer!" he exclaimed to himself when he saw the little prince coming.

 

The little prince sat down on the table and panted a little.

 

He had already traveled so much and so far!

 

"Where do you come from?" the old gentleman said to him.

 

"What is that big book?" said the little prince. "What are you doing?"

 

"I am a geographer." the old gentleman said to him.

 

"What is a geographer?" asked the little prince.

"A geographer is a scholar who knows the location of all the seas, rivers, towns, mountains, and deserts."

 

"That is very interesting." said the little prince.

 

"Here at last is a man who has a real profession!"

 

And he cast a look around him at the planet of the geographer.

 

It was the most magnificent and stately planet that he had ever seen.

 

"Your planet is very beautiful." he said. "Has it any oceans?"

 

"I couldn't tell you." said the geographer.

"오! 탐험가구나." 어린왕자가 오는 것을 보자마자 그는 소리쳤다.

어린 왕자는 테이블에 앉아서 헐떡이며 말했다.

그넌 아주 많이 여행했던 것이다. 

 

"Where do you come from?" the old gentleman said to him.

"너 어디서 왔니?" 나이 든 신사가 물었다."

 

"What is that big book?" said the little prince. "What are you doing?"

"그 큰 책은 뭐예요?" 어린 왕자가 물었다. "뭐하고 계셔요?"

 

"I am a geographer." the old gentleman said to him.

"나는 지리학자야." 나이 든 신사가 말했습니다.

 

"What is a geographer?" asked the little prince.

"지리학자가 뭔데요" 어린 왕자가 물었습니다.

 

"A geographer is a scholar who knows the location of all the seas, rivers, towns, mountains, and deserts."

"지리학자란 바다, 강, 도시, 산, 사막 등의 위치를 아는 학자란다."

 

"That is very interesting." said the little prince.

"매우 재미있네요." 어린 왕자가 말했다.

 

"Here at last is a man who has a real profession!"

"마침네 진짜 직업을 가진 사람이 여기 있네요"

 

And he cast a look around him at the planet of the geographer.

그리고 그는 지리학자가 사는 별을 둘러보았다.

그것은 그가 본 어떤 별보다 거대하고 장엄했다.

 

"Your planet is very beautiful." he said. "Has it any oceans?"

"당신의 별은 매우 아름다워요." 어린 왕자가 말했따. "바다도 있나요?"

 

"I couldn't tell you." said the geographer.

"잘 모르겠는데" 지리학자가 말했다.
